Fundraising has never been so important to Galway Simon.

Although we do receive government funding, this only covers about two-thirds of our annual costs.  The remaining shortfall must be made up of fundraising activities, donations and corporate giving.Whether you are a student, an employee, or an entrepreneur, there are lots of different ways that you can raise money to help Galway Simon Community. Some people may be able to donate their time and organisational ability to running an event, other people might have great contacts that could help an event get off the ground.

We would love to hear from you if you have a fundraising idea, or if you would like to donate proceeds from an event.  We can help with your events by providing support via press releases, volunteers on the day, collection buckets etc.

There are so many activities and events taking place around the country and around the world that can help raise funds for Simon.  If you are going to run the New York Marathon or trek the Alpes, then why not do it for Simon.  It is an brilliant feeling when you reach the finish line of a marathon, but knowing that you have helped people along the way makes it even sweeter!
