About Galway Simon
Since 1979, Galway Simon Community has been providing support services to people who are homeless or at risk of homelessness. We work with people in the areas of homelessness prevention, housing and health & well-being.
At Galway Simon Community, we take a housing first approach. Our work is focused on preventing people from becoming homeless by keeping people in their own homes or when this is not possible, by helping to resettle people to a new home through mainstream housing. For those who want to move on from emergency accommodation, we also provide 81 places in our housing services.
All of our clients are supported by our Health and Wellbeing Team which offer support in the areas of health, addiction, life skills, training and much more.
Our accommodation and support services are designed to meet the needs of each individual.
