Galway’s first Medieval Walk, Talk & Banquet will take place in Galway City on Wednesday 10th May in aid of Galway Simon Community.

The event is the first of its kind to be hosted in Galway and promises to be an intimate evening of Galway medieval locations, stories and feasting. It will kick off at 5:30pm with a welcome reception in the Hall of the Red Earl, followed by a guided tour from Michael Quinn of Dúchas na Gaillimhe (Galway Civic Trust) and Dave Swift of Claíomh which will be an entertaining, informative and leisurely stroll through Galway’s medieval highlights including St. Nicholas Collegiate Church, Lynch’s Castle and the old town walls.

The last destination of the tour will be the historic surrounds of Banks Castle in the King’s Head for a magnificent banquet fit for king including medieval entertainment and surprises from Claíomh and Galway Early Music.

A limited number of tickets are available so early booking is advised.
